Itinerary
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport or pickup from your hotel in Kampala, you will be greeted by your driver/guide. After a briefing, start the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, located in southwestern Uganda. The scenic drive takes approximately 8-9 hours, passing through local villages, tea plantations, and the beautiful landscapes of the Kigezi Highlands. Lunch will be en route.

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking etiquette. You’ll then embark on the trek, which can take between 2-6 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family. Led by an experienced ranger, you'll navigate through the dense forest in search of these majestic primates. Once found, you’ll spend an hour observing them in their natural habitat. Return to your lodge for rest.

Spend the morning on a guided nature walk in Bwindi, learning about the flora and fauna of the park. After lunch, immerse yourself in the local Batwa culture, visiting a nearby community to experience traditional dance, music, and storytelling. You’ll also learn about their unique survival skills in the forest.

After breakfast, you’ll transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda's deepest lake, famous for its stunning scenery and numerous small islands.
